For folks wondering if we’re hosting an author event in March, I’m pleased to say we are and the it’s with local small press author Andrew Charlton. His book, Taking Flight is a new all-ages coming of age fantasy about finding your own way, even when that goes against family expectations. It’s full of magic and adventure and very much in the current Dungeons and Dragons zeitgeist. Join Andrew and I as we talk about his journey from fantasy fan to writer, his book’s journey from idea to final product, and about how stories grow and change in the telling. There will also be a reading, a short Q&A and of course a signing session for folks who would like to get one of the copies we will have on hand personalised.
This is a free event, and while an RSVP here or via other socials is not required to attend, it does help me figure out how to set up the room and is appreciated.
