This is an unrated Beginner Chess Tournament open to all students (K-12) in San Antonio, and nearby areas. We will play 5 rounds on Saturday (11/9) at 10am until finish, usually around 3pm.Steele Montessori Academy

Time controls:
• All Rounds G/15
Profits go toward opening a free chess club on the Southside of San Antonio.
Sections and Prizes:
Top 3 in each section win a trophy
Top 2 teams of each section win a trophy
3 wins gets a medal guaranteed
Sections may be combined if low entry:
• K-1st grade
• 2nd-3rd grade
• 4th-5th grade
• 6th-8th grade
• 9th-12th grade
• Adult 18+
