Lead singer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Jonathan Shue delivers his signature blend of electric blues, Neil Young-like solos, and simple, memorable Tom Petty-like lyrics. Primarily written during the pandemic, these songs have gained popularity among longtime fans and he can't wait to share them with you!
Shue is flanked by Seattle musicians Dave "Troll" Harthoorn on bass and Seattle newcomer Gregory Roberts on drums. Troll helped with the writing and co-wrote "Sonic Boom." His Keep-It-Simple-Stupid bass lines ground Shue's guitar playing while vibrating your bones on the dancefloor. Roberts provides solid rhythm with indelible fills and cymbal crashes delivered right from the pocket.
From haunting slow burns reminiscent of Young's acoustic moments to foot-stomping barn-burners that would make Billy Gibbons proud, Steamroller delivers authentic performances that remind us why this music speaks to something deep in our bones.

Born out of Seattle’s finest Irish pubs, Raising Slane blends the soul-stirring melodies of Celtic music with the raw, unfiltered pulse of the Pacific Northwest’s rock scene. Drawing inspiration from the poetic storytelling of Neil Young, the whimsical lyrics of The Waterboys, and the sweeping tales of Van Morrison, Raising Slane creates a musical tapestry that's both intimately familiar and refreshingly original. Their songs carry the wisdom of ancient tales told around peat fires while pulsing with contemporary power and passion.
In addition to a growing number of originals, Raising Slane offers up their own take on the music of The Pogues, The Dubliners and more.
