About this Event
Youth & teens ages 8-17 are invited to join us to engage in 3 weeks (5/9, 5/16, & 5/30- no class on 5/23) of interactive workshops that will enhance their skills in CPR and other medical emergencies.
We are pleased to be able to offer youth another interactive academy that engages teens in hands-on learning of the basics needed to become CPR certified in today's medical industry.
In order to participate, we ask that each participant commit to attend all 3 Saturdays in order to ensure they gain the basic skills necessary to feel more comfortable implementing the skills in different settings and receive 1 year of CPR certification.
In order to attend, a parent will have to agree to our 2 waivers:
-Pictures & videos will be taken during our STEAM & Trades Academy- CPR & Stop The Bleed Training Edition. In order for your child to participate, you must agree to our photography/videography waiver: I understand that The Brown House Experience, Heavenly Cent and TBHE affiliates may use the images in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
-The STEAM & Trades Academy- CPR & Stop The Bleed Training Edition will be interactive, which includes using certain supplies and products. In order to participate, you must agree to the following waiver: I waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my child's death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to my child including traveling to and from the TBHE STEAM & Trades Academy: CPR & Stop The Bleed Training Edition.
