Staying Engaged In Care

Staying Engaged In Care is an empowering Lunch & Learn focused on the importance of consistent medical care for individuals living with HIV. This session highlights how ongoing engagement in care leads to better health outcomes, improved quality of life, and long-term viral suppression.

Participants will explore the key components of staying connected to care, including attending regular medical appointments, Medic*tion adherence, building strong relationships with healthcare providers, and navigating barriers such as transportation, stigma, mental health challenges, and life transitions.

The session also emphasizes self-advocacy, personal accountability, and the role of support systems in maintaining continuity of care. Through open conversation and shared experiences, attendees will gain practical strategies to overcome challenges and remain committed to their health journey.
