Collaborative Arts of Plano and the Plano Chamber of Commerce will present the 2026 Plano State of the Arts on Tuesday, April 14, at the Courtyard Theater, bringing together leaders from the arts, business, and civic sectors for one of the city’s most dynamic annual gatherings.The event will feature keynote remarks by Kellyn Smith Kenny, Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at AT&T. Her presentation will highlight the powerful relationship between creativity and economic growth.
With the theme “Art Inspires. Business Thrives.”, the 2026 program will explore how a vibrant arts community contributes to a strong and innovative business climate, while business leadership helps sustain and expand the cultural vitality of the city.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:15 p.m., offering attendees the opportunity to connect with leaders from across Plano’s arts, corporate, and civic communities. The main program begins at 6:00 p.m. and will include remarks from John B. Muns, along with city officials, arts leaders, and business representatives.
In addition to the keynote presentation, the program will feature a panel discussion with leading Plano business and arts leaders and reports from representatives of several of the city’s major arts organizations, highlighting accomplishments, community impact, and future initiatives.
The event showcases the collaborative spirit that defines Plano’s cultural landscape and demonstrates how the arts and business communities together help drive the city’s continued success.
