Startups are risky endeavors and rarely easy. There is a saying that "hardware is hard" because it delves into the physical world. Deep tech is one layer deeper, using new materials or existing materials in novel ways, which introduces additional science uncertainty and risk. C-Motive Technologies was founded on the idea of using alternative physical principles to make motion ("static cling" instead of magnetism), which opened up a new world of possibilities, products and technologies, while also creating tremendous challenges.
