Let's set our FES staff up with the best blind dates. Their summer loves, if you will. We want them falling head over heels for... Their next read, of course! What did you think we meant?
Start saving your used books! We're setting up a "blind-date with a book" for our teachers and staff to enjoy some summer reading.
We will collect your books at Forest Edge (please send in between 5/18-5/29) but before donating, please wrap your books in heavy paper and write some "blind date" info so that the teachers can pick their book-dates without knowing the title.
Some tips:
1. Use a heavy paper. This protects the book during transportation, and makes decorating easier.
2. Note on the wrapping paper the book's genre and give 2+ keywords, tropes, or a brief description of the book.
3. If it's part of a series be sure it is a stand-alone or the first in the series so that there isn't confusion for a reader that hasn't read the first book(s).
