Starry Night Tango - Second NYC Edition Showcase
Starry Night Tango returns to New York City with its Second Edition, presenting two unique evenings that celebrate Argentine tango as both an art form and a living cultural tradition. Founded and directed by Argentine dancer and teacher Martín Almirón, the project offers an innovative format where tango maestros and students share the stage, creating a dialogue between education, performance, and community. Recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, tango is honored here not only as a dance, but as a powerful expression of diversity and human connection.
This celebration unfolds across two unforgettable nights, each offering a different expression of the same vision: to honor tango as a living, evolving art form through collaboration, performance, and connection.

This is where it all comes together: a formal stage showcase with student and maestro performances, followed by our signature Milonga with Maestro Rounds — a joyful celebration where all teachers dance with each other and then with students from every participating school. It’s an unforgettable night of connection, artistry, and community celebration.
