RULES:
This is an unofficial event but with large prizing. There is no formal judging, however this event will be played under Premier Constructed format.
Players must attend with TWO deck lists - one is handed to the event organizer ahead of time, and the other is to show your opponent prior to each game. All decks must be sleeved and proxies are not permitted.
Format
The tournament will take place in four rounds of Swiss pairings. There is no top cut and thus, the standings can change right to the end!
For those unfamiliar with Swiss pairings, this means that the first round is paired randomly and then subsequent rounds are paired by scores.
The tournament will be scored with the following tiebreakers in the following order:
Rounds won - Strength of Schedule - Matches Won - Best Hat
SCHEDULE:
11:00 - 11:30 : Arrival and registration
11:30 - 12:30 : Game One
12:30 - 13:30 : Round Two
13:30 - 14:00 : LUNCH
14:00 - 15:00 : Round Three
15:00 - 16:00 : Round Four
PRIZES
Upon entry, all players will receive an attendance pack, which contains:
2 x Star Wars Unlimited Booster Packs (Mostly Secrets of Power, may contain other sets).
6 x Star Wars Unlimited OP Silver Prize Packs (No guaranteed set.)
1 x Star Wars Unlimited Promotional Set Specific Acrylic Initiative Token (No guaranteed set.)
+ A random selection of promo cards, if available.
There will then be prizing for the following placings:
1st Place - 1 x Sealed Booster Box of Secrets of Power, 1 x Sealed Secrets of Power Prerelease Kit
2nd Place - 1 x Sealed Booster Box of Legends of the Force, 1 x Sealed Secrets of Power Prerelease Kit
3rd Place - 10th Place - 1 x Sealed Secrets of Power Prerelease Kit
11th - 15th Place - 1 x Full box of 70 silver Star Wars Unlimited OP prize packs each. Selected by the placers in descending order (so 11th picks first!)
16th - 40th Place - Various prizing for taking part.
There will also be a prize for second-to-last place.
