Calling all young troopers and Rebel recruits! Game Kastle College Park is launching an action-packed, week-long Star Wars: Legion boot camp! Immerse yourself in the thrilling world of tabletop wargaming with this immersive program designed for aspiring commanders of all skill levels.

Blast off with a small squad of fellow trainees under the guidance of a seasoned Legion veteran. Master the tactical arts of commanding iconic Star Wars units – from the disciplined ranks of Rebel troopers to the fearsome might of Darth Vader's legion.

First, prepare for deployment! Learn the core mechanics of Star Wars: Legion through an introductory skirmish using pre-built squads. Hone your strategic thinking and dice-rolling skills as you clash with your comrades in miniature warfare.

Then, personalize your campaign! Choose your starting squad and unleash your creativity by building and painting your squad in your chosen colors and designs.

The rest of the boot camp will be your proving ground. Learn and develop new strategies as you face off against your fellow campers – sharpening the blade!

Miniature games, often called wargames, invite you to command tiny armies on a tabletop battlefield. These armies come to life through meticulously crafted miniature figures, each representing a soldier, hero, or monstrous beast. Your decisions determine your troops' movements, attacks, and strategies, as you clash with your opponent for tactical supremacy. In Star Wars: Legion, lead stormtroopers, clone troopers, or Rebels led by heroes and villains like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Outsmart your opponent, roll the dice, and watch your cinematic battles unfold. Paint your minis, personalize your army, and share stories of your tabletop triumphs. Legion lets you forge your own Star Wars legends, one miniature at a time.

Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs through 3:00 p.m. each day. There will be a morning session, followed by lunch and free play of other games in the Game Kastle College Park demo library. Store staff will be on hand to teach demo library games. After lunch and free play, campers will return to the war tables for an afternoon session of play. There will be a snack in the middle of the afternoon session. Game Kastle College Park will provide a daily boxed lunch and snack to the students as part of their tuition.

● Monday – Welcome, Younglings: Begin your understanding of the Force with learn-to-play battles, followed by choosing your own galactic squad to start building!

● Tuesday – Painting Padawans: Finish building your units and learn to paint them with the color palette of your choice.

● Wednesday – Use the Force: Learn to navigate the unique playstyle of your squad and face off in epic battles!

● Thursday – Become a Jedi: Deepen your understanding of the game by learning about your fellow campers’ strengths and weaknesses. Practice how your squad interacts with others!

● Friday – Join the Council: A final day of battles, practicing everything you’ve learned so far. Get mentorship on the next steps for growing your squad and collection, and learn about the awesome local events for continuing your Star Wars: Legion journey!

You can’t win a battle without gear, and we are here to get you ready! Each camper will receive a bundle of items to start their Star Wars: Legion journey. This will include:

Game Kastle College Park invites parents and guardians to stay with their children during camp if they wish. The store provides public gaming space with seating for more than 70 people and responsible adults are welcome to work or play at that space while camp is in session. Because Game Kastle is not a professional childcare provider, we cannot legally take responsibility for your children and their safety while they are at camp.
