Spacetime (formerly Promise) launches Star Power at the legendary DANCE CAVE! It’s a series of 3 events dedicated to Toronto’s compelling local DJs and the art of the prime-time dancefloor journey. Opening a great new historical space to Toronto’s dance culture and honouring the DJs who make big rooms feel alive.

The iconic Dance Cave has long been a Toronto meeting place — decades of music, dancing, laughter, and late nights baked into its walls. Now freshly available to the underground, the room is intimate but powerful, with distinctive rafter architecture, cozy side booths, striking wall murals by feminist artist Fiona Smyth and a welcoming, community-first staff. An all-new Adamson sound system brings clarity, warmth, and punch; a total treat for the DJs who truly know how to play through a room, not just at it.
STAR POWER DJS
Certain Toronto DJs elevate beyond the usual into true headliner territory — artists who step into prime time with Odyssian trajectory - confidence and intent, shaping a journey, a mission, a story. Star Power highlights this level of craft: long-form, peak-hour sets that build, lift, and explore.
The series runs late, until 4:00 AM, giving space for proper takeoff
As winter sets in, we all want to move, reconnect, and be out together. This accessibly priced series brings the Spacetime experience into closer focus — more intimate nights, right around the corner.
