About this Event
Hosted by the Gladstone Stem Cell Core, CIRM Shared Resources Lab and Cell Culture Collective, join Defined Bioscience for a peer-to-peer technical briefing on metabolic adaptation and workflow standardization in human pluripotent stem cell culture.
Presented by Jerome V. Karpiak, PhD, of Defined Bioscience this session is designed for researchers actively working with hPSCs who want to reduce variability, improve reproducibility, and build scalable workflows — from routine maintenance through cGMP manufacturing.
What We'll Cover
Transitioning: Navigating the "Passage 3 Lag" and metabolic re-tooling with Ready-CEPT® during hPSC media transition and upstream standardization.
Standardizing: Downstream validation in a GMP cell manufacturing environment: 6 iPSC lines, 5 lineages, 3 media (CIRM TRAN4-15298 OM5 summary).
Scaling: Smooth transition from HiDef® B8 (adherent-2D) to S8® (suspension-3D) in stirred tank bioreactors.
Special Offer for Gladstone Researchers Contact [email protected] to request a complimentary HiDef® B8 Transition Kit.
Lunch is provided for in-person attendees. Virtual attendees will receive a link upon registration.
