About this Event
SisterWalks was originally launched during Black Maternal Health Week in partnership with the Center for Birth Justice to create space for Black families, doulas, and community members to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with one another. This walk continues that tradition of honoring Black maternal wellness, joy, and community support.
Together we will gather at the San Francisco Ferry Building for a gentle community walk along the waterfront, followed by light refreshments and a closing reflection circle.
Whether you are pregnant, postpartum, a birth worker, or simply someone who believes in supporting Black families and birth justice, you are warmly invited to join us.
What to Expect
• Community welcome and land acknowledgment
• Meet SisterWeb doulas and families in our network
• Build community with UCSF Center for Birth Justice advocates
• A relaxed group walk along the waterfront
• Closing reflection circle
