Stand With Chile
Join us for a night of performances, treats, and much more, to support communities impacted by the devastating wildfires in Chile.
We will have storytellers, poets, and musicians, as well as stalls selling second-hand clothes and treats.
The event will take place on Monday, 2nd February at Leith Depot.
Tickets: £8 (Please be aware that Eventbrite charges a processing fee). Ticket includes a tea and treat!
Doors open at 7 pm, performances start at 7:30 pm with plenty of breaks so you can browse and enjoy.

BACKGROUND:
Forest fires erupted in the Ñuble and Bío Bío regions in central and southern Chile, leaving approximately 1,500 people without homes. A state of catastrophe has been declared and thousands of acres of precious land have been destroyed. The Fire Brigades in Chile are working hard at containing the fires.
Bomberos de Chile (Fire Department) is a voluntary organisation. Firefighters give their time and risk their lives without receiving a wage. Their expenses are partly funded by the state, but they usually rely on fundraisers they organise (Bingos, raffles, events).
