About this Event

This session is only available to families who live within EH6/EH7 and must have at least one child under 6 years old.

Join counsellors from CrossReach for a gentle, supportive space to talk about your birth experience and the early days of new parenthood. This circle is a relaxed, safe environment where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with or simply listen.
Together, we’ll explore how childbirth can affect mothers emotionally and physically, honouring the diversity of birth stories and the feelings that come with them. You’ll also be able to learn about the support available if you feel you’ve been negatively affected by your experience.
💬 Come share, or just be present — all are welcome
🍲 Dinner will be provided — enjoy a warm, nourishing meal
👶 Children are welcome — space will be available for little ones, though we kindly ask that you remain responsible for their care during the circle.
This session is about understanding, compassion, and connection — a chance to be heard, validated, and supported as you reflect on your journey into motherhood.
