On May 21, some of Montreal's top stand-up comics and musicians from the Lebanese diaspora are coming together to put on a show to raise funds for Lebanon's first responders.
In the first hour of the show, we'll bring you English stand-up comedy hosted by Wassim El-Mounzer (Just For Laughs New Faces, CBC's the Debaters) and featuring Carmina Berbari Daou (MTL Sketchfest), Andrew Khoury (Just for Laughs), Hadi Kubba (two-time finalist for the Boston Comedy Festival), and a surprise guest (wink).
The second half of the show will feature musical performances in both English and Arabic from some of Montreal's top musicians like Walid Moon and Nadine Altounji.
100% of the ticket revenue will go towards equipping Lebanon's first responders as they carry out life-saving missions in areas affected by ongoing attacks. Rescue equipment includes first aid supplies, ambulance set-ups, bulletproof gear, and related operational costs.
