About this Event
This is a beginner level class - no experience required. However, participants with more experience are welcome.
Participants will learn or practice the basic techniques of the copper foil method; cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and patinating. The class will make a simple suncatcher from a variety of patterns (i.e. flower, bird, feather) to become familiar with techniques and materials used in stained glass making. Tools and materials are provided.
Children 12 years and older can participate if accompanied by an adult. Both the adult and child must buy a ticket and each will be provided with a kit.
Doors open at 9:30 AM. Class begins at 10:00. Refreshments will be provided.
