About this Event
Stage combat (unarmed) with Sean Croft (4hr)
Overview:
Explore unarmed combat and develop a selection of moves to combine in to a choreographed sequence!
A well-executed fight scene can make stage combat look easy but, much like dancing, it must be intricately choreographed and extensively rehearsed, to provide that authentic feel while remaining safe.
Who is this for?
Actors, performers, comedians, amateurs and everyone in between.
About the teacher
Sean Croft is a performer, director, choreographer & teacher specialised in Physical Theatre & Stage Combat having worked and taught in various drama institutions across the UK and China for more than a decade.
He is Artistic Director of BodyScramble a physical theatre company that develops non-verbal based storytelling and physically led storytelling.

At East 15 over the three year Bachelors degree course, Sean covered extensive training in specialist skills and nine different weapon sets, alongside an extensive acting and performance programme.
Sean’s approach to theatre making follows predominantly from his training at the Lecoq School, with the body first, and how it moves within the space; observing the world around us with playful curiosity and finding a way of translating this into a performative medium.
