They're back!

Your CPD-accredited training webinars return this Autumn 2024! These sessions are for all university and college staff working, or interested in, supporting students' financial wellbeing and are designed to fit into your busy schedule.

For the first time, the topics in this series are a mix between those that will better help you support your students and sessions designed for us to support you with your own wellbeing, workload and financial wellbeing.

We’ll dive deep into each topic with the help of expert speakers and students themselves. You’ll gain actionable insights as well as a CPD certificate and have the chance to ask questions, ensuring you can solve any challenges specific to your institution too.

The schedule

15 October - Your mental health & wellbeing as staff (speaker: Jessica Hannan, Education Support - the UK charity dedicated to the health and wellbeing of education staff and organisations)
5 November - Gambling harm and prevention (speaker: Gamcare)
19 November - Tips for using social media to engage disengaged students (speakers: Stephen Adeoye, CEO of Beyond Education and student money mentors) - for staff at Blackbullion partner universities & colleges only
3 December - Your personal finance masterclass (speaker: Vivi Friedgut, Blackbullion CEO and Founder) - for staff at Blackbullion partner universities & colleges only

How to join

All staff across the sector (not just Blackbullion partners) with an interest in student support and outcomes are invited to attend the first two sessions in this series.

You'll need to register individually for each session. By registering, you will secure your free spot and receive the link to join the Zoom webinar on the day.

Sessions three and four are for Blackbullion partner universities & colleges only. There’s no need to sign up for these, the link will be sent to staff at our partner universities & colleges. Once you receive the link, feel free to share it with your colleagues too!

Important: Join at least one session to get your CPD certificate.
