This year as we celebrate Dorset Day and remember St Wite, the patron saint of Dorset we are delighted to welcome Bishop Karen Gorham, the Acting Bishop of Salisbury; a gathered Festival Choir, the Dorset Recorder Society and a merry band of pilgrims who will join us in medieval song to celebrate St Wite's Day. The service starts at 5.45pm for 6pm as pilgrims and all are welcomed by the authentic medieval melodies of the Dorset Recorder Society. The Festival Choir will perform and we will be invited to join in song with the pilgrims who have walked through Hell (Lane) to get to the Shrine.
