The Emerald Society of Illinois would like to invite everyone to join us in Marching in Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and to our Celebration immediately following the parade. All L. E. O., Militarily personal (active and retired ), families and friends are welcome to join us to march in the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration Saturday, March 14 2026.
The Celebration will be held at the Local 399 Operating Engineers Hall, 2260 S. Grove St., Chicago, IL from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
For those of you who wish to march in the parade, we will be meet starting at 9:00 am at our celebration site at the Local 399 Operating Engineers Hall, 2260 S. Grove St., Chicago, IL.
Busses will transport our group to the parade staging area at Columbus Dr and Balbo Ave and depart promptly at 10:00 am.
After the parade, busses will transport everyone back to the Celebration at the Local 399 Operating Engineer’s Hall.
Anyone interested in marching with us and not meeting at the 399 Hall prior, can also meet us at our parade staging area at Balbo Ave and Columbus Dr, near the Northwest corner.
Entrance fee to the Emerald Society of Illinois St. Patrick’s Day Celebration are;
$65 Adults 21 and over
$25 Youth ages 10 - 20
Children 12 and under are free.
Entrance fee includes; parking, full corned-beef and cabbage dinner, frosty beverages and entertainment. Performances by The Walk-Ins, the Bagpipes and Drums of The Los Angeles Emerald Society and the finest bagpipe and drum bands in all the land, The Bagpipes and Drums of the Emerald Society, Chicago Police Department.
