Come join our Day Services team! We are very excited to be building a team of Community Access Facilitators to work in our day service supporting young adults with intellectual disabilities.
Salary range €35,432 - €51,373
The two roles available are;
School Leaver Community Access Facilitator
This is a role which involves working with young people with an intellectual disability supports school leavers in determining their life vision, setting and working towards their goals and supporting them to go for what they want in life.
Community Access Facilitator - Supported Employment
This role is working with our current service users and supporting them to engage in meaningful employment opportunities of their choice.
There are multiple positions available for each role.
You must have a minimum QQI Level 6 Qualification in Psychology/ Supporting people with Special Needs/ Sport/Training/ Nursing/ Education/ Teaching/ Social Care/ Community Work or a related area.
*A full manual driving license is an essential requirement for this role and willingness to drive Service Users.
A successful candidate will have;
*A Fetac/QQI level 6 Qualification e.g. Social Care/Community Work/Psychology/Training/ Nursing/ Education or a related area
*Commitment to a Person Directed Planning approach
*The ability to identify and develop people’s natural support networks, work and social roles
*The ability to facilitate and support service-users, including people with complex needs, in both service based and community programmes
*Knowledge of relevant national legislation and policy e.g. New Directions
*Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
*Full clean manual driving license essential
