About this Event
The walk begins at Bobby Buckle’s House - White Cottage, 7 White Hart Lane, the first official recorded address of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club– just around the corner from the Spurs Stadium and historic Percy House.
This historic walk shows how the birth and growth of THFC from 1882 to the present day is entwined with the local history of Tottenham. It links the Antwerp Arms community pub, the area around the Bruce Castle Park and All Hallows church in this fascinating historic “Olde Tottenham” village area. Peppered with fascinating facts about the area’s history, your free tour will be entertaining and informative.
The route follows White Hart Lane taking in where Bill Nicholson once lived, through Tottenham Cemetery and finally where it all began at the Church of All Hallows. From Bruce Castle Park, the walk ends at the Antwerp Arms by 12.30pm.
Spaces are limited. Booking your free place is essential via Eventbrite.
