Welcome to Squish! — a platonic cuddle party for people to come get high on natural endorphins from informed, consensual touch.
Cuddling is scientifically proven to promote emotional bonding and reduce stress by increasing oxytocin, the hormone associated with safety, trust, and connection. It can also lower cortisol, heart rate, and blood pressure, supporting both emotional regulation and relaxation.
We will begin with a 45-minute authentic relating segment centered on consent, boundaries, and ownership of desires, creating a foundation of safety and mutual respect. Participants will be guided to practice clear communication, self-awareness, and attunement to others. This will naturally flow into a less structured “snuggle jam,” where touch remains consensual, optional, and continuously negotiated. The experience will be paired with a sound bath offered by Tina Toner to support a more audibly embodied connection.
THIS IS A SOBER EVENT! Given the vulnerable nature of Squish, the use of intoxicants of any kind are strictly disallowed. Oxytocin is soooo much better when it’s naturally induced anyway. Thanks so much for maintaining the sanctity of this container.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear something comfy. Layers are recommended as this space may fluctuate in temperature. Sweatpants, loose-fitting clothing, warm socks, (pajamas?) are great options.
Skirts, heavy jewelry, itchy fabrics, etc. are not recommended.
HYGINE : Please arrive clean and fresh for this event. Heavy colognes and perfumes are also not recommended. Thanks so much for being hygienically respectful!
No Phones! Squish invites all guests to unplug for the night and remain in a tech-free space for its duration. Please feel free to exchange numbers, or contact info at the end of the event.
Punctuality: Doors for this event open at 6:30pm and DOORS CLOSE AT 7PM! . Please be sure to arrive before the container closes.
PARKING IS LIMITED PLEASE RIDESHARE OR CARPOOL IF YOU CAN. The parking lot for the complex is owned by the nearby bars, theater, museum, but NOT Wuum. Please find parking on the street.
