A fun day out for adults and children alike, discover things you never knew about where you live. These gentle, guided walks are accessible, and a great way to get active and spend time outdoors.
Nature walks for younger children – led by
Bring your little ones along to explore nature. They’ll hunt for bugs, use a magnifying glass to explore textures of moss and leaves, identify leaves and seeds, and go on a scavenger hunt. Plenty to keep curious minds entertained!
Nature walks for all ages – led by
Explore the green spaces and wildlife of Queen’s Park including a stop at the main pond for bird watching and the garden area at the top of the hill to enjoy views across Bolton. Learn about seasonal wildlife and the role green spaces play in community wellbeing.
Tour start times:
Tours will start at 10am, 11:30am and 1pm.
