In this walk, join the Lower East Ecology Center street tree care team to witness the urban forest transforms. As we wander the parks and streets of the East Village and the Lower East Side, from Tompkins Square Park and community gardens to busy city corners, we will identify common urban trees, uncover their natural rhythms, and reflect together on the promise of spring.
