Join me for Spring Scenes: A Watercolour Evening at the always welcoming 'The Patch Brewery' !
A casual, artsy experience where you can ease into the relaxing world of watercolours. Perhaps you're trying something new or are a seasoned painter, this in-person event is all about connection, community and experiencing the balancing benefits of the artistic process! No experience necessary (for real!) and all supplies included!
Art has the power to connect, ground, and inspire. As an accomplished Artist and Instructor (with formal certifications and over 30 years of professional experience), I have cultivated a unique approach to therapeutic art with watercolours that emphasizes connection—to oneself, to nature, and to the moment.
This experience is ideal for those balancing business and well-being, seeking meaningful connections with their Self and others, and anyone wishing to capture a memory of their surroundings in a deeply personal way.
A Welcoming Introduction
Guests are invited to settle in, a little mingle, and begin to slow down through a brief guided moment of mindfulness. This is my opportunity to connect with the guests, briefly learn about each other and intuitively assess skill level, those who may need particular supports etc. Everyone is unique! My art experiences are always flexible to support colourful situations and varying skill levels.
Creative Exploration
I will lead the group through essential watercolours techniques and express the unique lines and textures of the beautiful surrounding landscapes. My focus is 'process over product' and 'presence over perfection'...there is no right or wrong way, just start and the rest will flow!
Personal Expression
Each guest will create their own painting, supported with gentle instruction and individual encouragement. Follow my lead or find your own creative path - I provide simple step-by-step resources sheets and YouTube videos for future reference.
Connection & Take-Away
The session closes with time to reflect and share, if desired. Guests leave with not just their artwork, but a sense of accomplishment and inspiration. Option to purchase a frame for your masterpiece!
