About this Event
Attend a half day educational program covering the basics of spring pasture management. This program will provide you with the most up to date information available to help you manage pastures on your property to meet the needs of your grazing livestock. All materials, light refreshments, and lunch will be included in the registration fee. Topics will be taught by University of Florida Faculty. Topics include soils and fertility, pasture establishment and maintenance, grazing management, warm season annuals, and W**d ID and control. The program will be held at the UF/IFAS Levy County Extension Office, located at 625 North Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, Florida. The registration fee is $30.00 plus the Eventbrite administrative fee. There will be a live pasture W**d display, and you can also bring in your pasture W**d samples to ID and discuss treatment options.
Attendance is limited to 25 people.
