Second Gathering: A Beautiful Lack of Consequence
For our next meetup, we turn to A Beautiful Lack of Consequence by Monika Radojevic: a novel that moves boldly and provocatively through questions of desire, autonomy, and emotional risk.
Radojevic’s writing is precise, almost surgical at times, yet deeply sensorial. She explores the inner life of women navigating relationships, sexuality, and the negotiations of power imposed to us in this world, but through nuance, contradiction, and restraint.
Her work embodies a kind of honesty that feels both liberating and unsettling: what if wanting doesn’t need to be justified? What if consequence is something we learn to redefine?
