Late spring-early summer is an excellent time to observe moths. These insects overwinter in a pupal case under the leaf litter, and arise in the springtime as beautiful moths. Spring is the season when you are most likely to find cecropia and luna moths. Lets see what we can find! Participants should plan to bring portable seating and a flashlight and be able to hike on a moderate trail. For all ages
