TIME: Talk starts at 7 pm. Arrive from 6:30 pm to grab a drink from the bar!
WHERE: London City Runners clubhouse, 130 Druid Street SE1 2HH
COST: £12 (includes entry to the prize draw)
This workshop will cover everything you need to know as you start your marathon preparation. We’ll discuss the following topics and more:
- What makes up an effective marathon plan
- Strength training for runners
- Fuelling and nutrition
- Race day strategy
The workshop is led by two experienced UKA qualified running coaches, Richard Coates and Natascha Starr (who many of you already know from the Wednesday track sessions).
The cost of your ticket also includes entry into the prize draw at the end of the event, where you’ll have the opportunity to win a custom marathon plan from Richard and a 1:1 coaching session with Natascha, among other prizes.
We anticipate that the event will end around 8:30 - 9 pm.
