The event will begin at 2:30pm with a Spring Gardening Festival Marketplace, showcasing local eco-friendly businesses and nonprofit organizations offering practical ways to create more sustainable landscapes.
Following the Marketplace at 4:00 pm watch four short films produced by Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, showing real-life native plant transformations at Elings Park. After the films, former Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider will moderate a panel with local environmental experts.
This event is part of our 2026 Green Film Series. The Marjorie Luke Theatre’s Green Film Series brings audiences together for compelling films, dynamic panel discussions, and meaningful conversations centered on today’s most critical environmental issues.
