About this Event
Join Food Well Alliance and Josh Fuder, Cherokee County Extension Agent and NAFEX Board Member, for workshop on Spring Fruit Tree Maintenance at the Westview Community Orchard!
This two hour workshop is a continuation of the seasonal fruit tree workshop series that started with the hands-on purning workshop! You don't need to have attended past workshops to join this one, but they are designed to give you a collective understanding of seasonal orchard maintenance.
In the spring workshop, you'll learn best practices and benefits of thinning flowers/fruiltlets for healthier fruit production, pest management and follow up from pruning.
