Spring is here, and Stomping Ground is rolling out a brand new workshop series to help you spring forward as an improviser and performer!
Each week, one of our instructors will dig into a topic or skill of their choosing! Students will refresh their improvisational toolbelt and add new tools to make their scenes both memorable and engaging for an audience. This class is recommended for students with some improv experience. The prerequisite for these workshops is Level Three Improv at Stomping Ground or the equivalent at another training center with permission from the Training Center Director.
This week's topic is Using Mindfulness in Improv
We all know improv can improve mindfulness, but how can mindfulness improve your improv? In this week’s Spring Forward drop-in class, students will use mindfulness exercises to get in touch with their bodies and minds, to listen deeply, and really get in the flow of a scene.
This drop-in class meets on Sunday, March 15 from 6-8:30pm. The instructor is Nan Kirkpatrick. All sales are final. Price of class does not include Eventbrite's service fee (3.7% + $1.79) and payment processing fee (2.9%) which will be added to the total price at checkout. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
