We're back with a spring in our step for our Family Day at the Spring Fling!
Drop into the ARC on Saturday 11 April any time between 12noon and 3pm to enjoy free, family-friendly events and activities, which this year explores the theme, About Time. From time capsules and seasons to clocks and tempo, it’s time to get stuck into our research at the university.
There's the option to join us from 10:45 for our family friendly screening of Alice in Wonderland, details and tickets for which can be found here.
All activities are free and most are drop-in. You'll find a booking link below for any ticketed events.
What can I expect?
- Don’t be late for a very important date – watch our CinemARC special screening of Alice in Wonderland. Booking required
- Say hello to Benji the Robot Dog as part of a live robotics demonstration. Booking required
- At 12:00, hear the Partick Pluckers kick off the drop-in event with a ukelele extravaganza
- Make your own time capsule with artist Emma Melchor
- Learn from GALLANT about sustainable transport in Glasgow
- Hear the magical Muonphone, an instrument that makes music using muon detection
- Grab a lovely lunch at The Western cafe!
