About this Event
Join us in private woodlands at Rushcliffe Country Park for a day of nature immersion and relaxation as we celebrate the Spring Equinox!
The Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, is the midway point between the winter and summer Solstices, when day and night are of equal length (equinox = ‘equal night’). For millennia this important moment in the natural calendar has been celebrated with joviality and reflection: from this point onwards daylight hours are longer than night, flowers and spring greens are popping up in abundance, and birds are resuming their song. The season of breeding and birth is underway across the animal kingdom, and the canopies of the trees above is beginning to fill out with greenery.
It is a time of rebirth, of renewal, of awakening and celebration. It is a time to join together in community, and enjoy the return of the gentle warmth of the spring time sun.
Immersing ourselves in nature and in community can be a really powerful way of honouring this important in the natural calendar. This event prioritises connection: to nature, to ourselves and to each other.

The event will be guided by a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner. Additional information will be sent out to all attendees 2 days before the event by email - if you have not received it by then, please check your spam then message me at [email protected].
