Michael Weese from Mushroomlife and I are teaming up to teach a collab foraging walk on Saturday March 30th! During the walk we're going to dive deep into the top wild edible plants and mushrooms in our region growing this time of year. Stick around afterwards for a group picnic (bring your own lunch) ??In this walk we will cover topics such as:
-Plant & fungi identification
-How to harvest sustainably and prepare different wild edible foods throughout the seasons
-Basics of botany, field herbalism and medicinal preparations
-Planting & propagation techniques
-Agroforestry principles & practices
-Temperate ecology and more
Please don't hesitate to bring friends & family that might be interested!
Starts @ 11:00 am and we will walk for 2-3 hours.
$30-40 suggested donation.
