About this Event
Join Collin Gow, C.N.C. on this spring plant hike around the yard and property at the Dome House in Carrollwood. Sat. March 21, 2026. 10 AM to 11:30 AM EDT. Adults, kids, chefs, naturalists, students...all are welcome! Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Ages 5 and under are free. Ticket required for age 6 and up.
Collin is an experienced forager and author who holds certifications in nutrition, botany, wilderness first aid, herbalism, and dietary supplements! On this hike he will teach you how to identify many natural treasures, while also discussing their biological actions, nutritional benefits, culinary uses, Native American uses, and ethnomedicinal uses. You will have a whole new botanical and wellness vocabulary by the end of it!
We will walk a distance of about 1/2 a mile. It is best to arrive 15 minutes early and come prepared, as the class will take place rain or shine. Anywhere from 5 to 35 people generally attend the walks, and Collin usually covers around 15-20 species.
