Spring DetoxSpring is a great time to detoxify the liver and strengthen the tendons and connective tissues. In this flow we will release energy blockages in the liver and gallbladder meridian. If the liver gets overloaded it becomes congested which results in Qi stagnation which is experienced as tension, joint pain, headaches, physical weakness, painful menstruation. Therefore in Qigong we are emphasizing in purging the liver, and circulating the Qi using spirals and twists. The Gallbladder is an organ that supports the circulation of Qi.

My path in energy work started 17 years ago with a strong foundation in Ayurveda
(Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coaching and Ayurvedic Dietetics), a certification in Kundalini Yoga, and as an Acutonics (tuning forks) sound and vibrational therapist. As a certified Kundalini yoga teacher I had an injury practicing yoga and since then it became painful to practice it. I missed the mental and spiritual aspect of the yogic practice.... until I discovered Qigong! Naturally I expanded my knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy work practicing Qigong. I discovered Qigong in 2019 and “fell in love” with the practice! Since then I have been practicing and teaching it on a daily basis. I am a certified Qigong flow instructor and a professional member of the National Qigong Association.
