The winds of change have blown through 2218 Mount Vernon Avenue, and we’re celebrating the evolution of Del Ray Public House (Formerly Del Ray Pizzeria) with a monumental community event!

This year, the Del Ray .5K is dedicating its spring mission to Operation Light Shine. Their relentless dedication to putting an end to abuse and exploitation in our country is a cause we stand behind with unwavering resolve.

We are deeply horrified by the current national situation regarding pedophilia and the rise of child exploitation, particularly in our digital age. Operation Light Shine fights these battles on the front lines, and every dollar raised will help fund their crucial operations. This is our chance, as a neighborhood institution, to say: Del Ray wants to help.

• 4 PM - THE PARTY STARTS: Live music kicks off, cornhole is open for play, and the food/drink specials begin (including, yes, our new fire-grilled steaks and Southwest provisions alongside the classics). Raffle tickets sales go live.
• 5:00 PM - THE .5K : Line up on the rugged asphalt for the glorious, 3-minute power walk across the parking lot. Must be 18+ or have parental permission to participate
• 6:00 PM - RAFFLE DRAWING: Your chance to win incredible prizes while supporting the cause.
• 7:30 PM - LAST CALL: Final call for provisions and libations.

• Entry Ticket (Required): Grants access to the party and parking lot as a spectator or supporter.
• Race Registration & Waiver (Optional Add-On): Includes your official bib. MUST be 18 or older or have signed parental permission to participate in the "race".
• Raffle Tickets: Enter for a chance to win exclusive prizes, including items from neighboring businesses and some of your favorite beverage companies.
