Join illustrator and printmaker Abbie Mooney for an introduction to the art of cyanotype—or "sun-printing"—to create your very own botanical prints. This workshop is the perfect way to get creative with the changing seasons, using seasonal plants and flowers to create vivid photographic prints for your home.
In this workshop, you will be guided through the traditional photographic process: combining light-sensitive chemicals, applying them to paper, and exposing them to UV light. Using your own compositions of foraged materials as stencils, you will create beautiful cyan prints. To give your artwork a personal touch, you may wish to bring cuttings from your own garden or surroundings to reflect the space around you.

We are able to provide credit / transfer onto another course or workshop if there is two or more weeks’ notice.
Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event. We have incurred material costs & committed numbers to the tutor.
