WPO will be in concert on Saturday 14 March 2026 at Pershore Abbey, starting at the usual time of 2.30pm. We are delighted to welcome mezzo soprano, Suzie Purkis, to sing Elgar's Sea Pictures. When Suzie joined us at rehearsal, she brought a tear to the eye with a breath taking performance, reaching down into the soul of the music!
Also on the programme are Grieg's Norwegian Dances and Dvořák's Symphony no 6.
K.B. Catering will be selling a selection of cakes, together with tea, coffee & soft drinks from 1:30pm and during the interval. Interval refreshments can also be pre-ordered before the concert begins.
