Welcome to Small Steps Art Studio! Our mission is to guide children in building a strong foundation of artistic skills and understanding. By exploring tools and materials, kids develop the confidence, curiosity, and creativity needed to bring their ideas to life. Through the use of resourced and recycled materials, we encourage sustainable practices and make art accessible, encouraging children to create wherever they are.

- Camp Fee: $430 (with eventbrite fees $460.68)
Location: Small Steps Art Studio: 6009 Shattuck Ave, Bushrod, Oakland
Outdoor Breaks: Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy an outdoor break at nearby Bushrod Park (just across the street) for lunch and play. This hour and a half long break allows kids to recharge and stretch their creative energy.
🥪 What to Bring: Dress for mess! Please pack lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to keep your child energized throughout the day.
👩🎨 Class Sizes: Small, supportive groups of 4-11 kids for personalized attention and engaging group activities.
Aftercare Available: From 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: $35/day or $150/week. Add this option via email after registration.
Policies
- Cancellations: Refunds are available up to 7 days before the start of camp. (Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.)
- Health and Wellness: Please sanitize hands upon arrival. If your child is unwell, we kindly ask you to keep them home.
- Class Refunds: In rare cases of cancellation due to illness or low enrollment, we’ll issue a full refund for the camp or class.
