About this Event
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
In this hands-on workshop, instructor Jennifer Wilkin Penick will guide you through the exciting and expressive technique of reverse painting. You'll how to use a mixture of acrylic paint and collage to create depth and unexpected beauty.
We’ll begin by brainstorming botanical shapes and silhouettes, with optional templates available for those who prefer a starting point. From there, you’ll experiment with collage elements and acrylic paint, building rich textures and bold contrasts to create a truly one-of-a-kind composition. This process encourages play, intuition, and exploration - no two pieces alike.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Whether you’re brand new to creative projects or are a seasoned creative, this workshop offers a relaxed environment to explore a new technique and play with spring botanicals for the sake of creativity!
