The Spring Band Concert will include music from a variety of genres and time periods as well as timeless jazz standards. The performance will include Pirates of the Caribbean, performed by the UD Brass Ensemble; selections from Black Panther, performed by the UD Woodwind Ensemble; highlights from Wicked and The Lion King, performed by the UD Concert Band; jazz standards from Freddie Green and Wayne Shorter, performed by the UD Jazz Band; and more. The University of Dubuque's Concert Band will be joined by alumni and incoming students for a special performance of UD's alma mater.The concert is free and open to the public. No ticket is required.
