Are you a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer community/any identity under the LGBTQ+ umbrella? Are you currently questioning your gender identity or sexual orientation? Do you want to form meaningful
relationships with other members of the community?
Join us for our free bimonthly support group at The Innovation Lab! We typically have between 8-12 attendees, ranging from their early 20’s to their early 60’s, and welcome anyone to join us who is over the age of 18.
Pre-registration is not required, and all attendees/discussion of the group is confidential. Venue has stairs, but elevator access is available. Restrooms are accessible. Masks are encouraged, but not required.
Our meetings start off with some informal gathering time, when members socialize with each other and the facilitator orders pizza—food is provided free, and ordered from Dominos, with vegetarian and gluten free upon request.
We then share announcements before shifting into a formal time, where each member who wants to share has several minutes to speak without interruption or feedback. We take a break for supper, finish our shares, then transition into another informal conversation time, where members can receive feedback, should they wish.
