Join yoga teacher Jean Laing for a hybrid, 4-part moderate yoga series, Spring Awakening.This new 4-week series is designed to help you shed the heaviness of winter and align with the vibrant, growing energy of the new season. Each week focuses on a different aspect of seasonal renewal, moving from grounding foundations to energetic expansion.
Week 1: Ground, Awaken & Energize. Embrace the transition from rest to action. Shake off winter and invite vitality back into your body.
Week 2: Cleanse & Twist. Let go of what no longer serves you, make space for new growth. The spring element of wood cleanses while twisting "wrings out" toxins to promote clarity.
Week 3: Growth & Heart Opening. Cultivate positive self-talk to allow for personal growth.
Week 4: Bloom and Expand. Channel the expansive energy of the sun. Nature blooms with a sense of openness.
This workshop will be held in Open Spirit's Edwards Hall (39 Edwards Street in Framingham) and via Zoom on March 5, 12, 19, & 26 from 6-7pm.
Mats and props are available in Edwards Hall for your use but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
The cost is $80 for the series or $20 per session if registered in advance. $25 for drop-ins.
