Flexible scheduling makes it easy to customize the week to fit your family’s needs.
AM Muse Method
Our morning session, running from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM focuses on skill development through the 9th Muse Academy’s standardized Muse Method curriculum.
Students work in small, individualized groups based on their current level. Each student progresses through projects tailored to their abilities, ensuring they are challenged appropriately while building confidence.
During this session, students will:
• Develop technical drawing and painting skills
• Strengthen observation and composition techniques
• Work at their own pace within a structured framework
This is ideal for students who want to deepen their artistic foundation and make measurable progress. Class sizes are limited, allowing each student to receive individualized attention that helps them succeed and thrive.
• Parents will need to walk in to drop off the student and pick them up from the Academy afterwards. For older students, accommodations can be arranged.
• If a student has a 504 or IEP, parents need to communicate their accommodations before signing up for art lessons.
• Students are required to sign a behavior contract. If they break the behavior contract, they will be asked to leave with no refund.
PM Art Exploration
Afternoons are all about experimentation and hands-on creativity. Each day features a new group project using different mediums and processes. Students will create finished pieces to take home daily.
Projects may include:
• Watercolor greeting cards
• Acrylic-painted wooden signs
• Mixed media collages
• Simple printmaking projects
• And other rotating craft-based art experiences
This session encourages creative risk-taking, collaboration, and exploration of new materials in a relaxed, energetic studio setting.
