𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗔𝗬It’s time for spring cleaning. The City of Jackson is hosting our annual Spring Cleanup Day, giving residents a free opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items and yard waste while helping keep our community clean.
Join us Saturday, May 2, from 7:00–11:30 a.m. at one of two convenient drop-off locations.

This event is free and open to City of Jackson residents only.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀
Residents should remain in their vehicles and follow the organized drive-through lines. Staff will direct vehicles to the proper unloading areas. When it is your turn, residents are asked to assist DPW staff with unloading items if they are able.

• Yard waste such as brush and grass clippings
• General household trash
• Boxes and furniture
𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱
• Batteries
• Tires
• Kitchen garbage
• Paint or liquid waste
• Appliances containing freon
• Hazardous waste
• Electronics
• Motor oil
Staff may check bags to ensure prohibited items are not included.
